PennyDrops Dalhousie Chapter

PennyDrops is a national not-for-profit organization with chapters at multiple universities across the country. The goal of PennyDrops is to teach students financial literacy skills, so that they can acquire the tools they need to reach their financial goals. PennyDrops conducts presentations on various topics, such as investing, budgeting and credit. The presentations are made to Dalhousie students and high school students at local high schools. The role of members who are involved in the society is to give presentations.

Our society invites members, students, and staff to join us on hive inspections, where individuals are educated on the importance of pollinators and gain hands on experience with bees. The society holds various meetings and workshops throughout the year where individuals can learn from guest speakers about beekeeping practices, the importance of native pollinators, and of course about our own hives!
