DSU ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
October 9th, 2024, 6:30pm | McInnes Room (2nd floor of Student Union Building)
The DSU 2024 Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at 6:30pm in the McInnes Room! Please bring your student ID with you. Event staff will be greeting attendees at the entrance to confirm their registration status and list them as present for the meeting.
The AGM is an opportunity for all DSU members to come together to hear about the work that the Executive and Council have been doing and are planning for the coming year, and to make decisions about the direction of the Union. All Dalhousie students are members of the DSU and have voting rights at the AGM, so come and have your say!

What is quorum?
For the AGM to move ahead and for the DSU to make changes, 1% of the student-body must attend and vote at the AGM.
To help us meet quorum, we're trying something new! Want to win $2k?:
Register for & attend the DSU AGM with your Dal ID card in hand-on Oct. 9th at 6:30pm.
Bring your Friends: Currently we need 211 students in order to meet quorum! Grab as many friends as you can, come get your free pizza and join the meeting.
Stay until the end of AGM to cast your vote. .
We’ll draw from the list of present AGM attendees at the end of the meeting IF QUORUM IS MET!
SOCIETY PRIZE:
$1000 prize giveaway to any society that brings the most students to the DSU AGM.

Past general meeting Minutes
Minutes from 2017-2022 are not available because there were not enough members in attendance at the meetings to constitute quorum, so no decisions were made. These meetings each proceeded as a forum with executive reports, presentation of the audit, and time for questions.
