The Dalhousie Squash Club (DSC) is a great place to meet other squash enthusiasts and work on improving your game. Membership in the DSC is free and is open to anyone with access to the Dalplex. We run weekly drop-in nights, fun tournaments, the Dalhousie Open, social events, and coaching clinics. Dalhousie Formula Society of Automotive Engineers (Dalhousie FSAE)
Dalhousie Formula SAE designs, builds, and races a small formula-style race
car, with a focus on developing students engineering skills and technologies. For the 2022-2023 season the team transitioned to an electric drivetrain. This allows student members to promote sustainable transportation and advance the future of mobility while actively gaining the necessary skills to easily integrate into the transitioning automotive industry upon graduation.
Dalhousie Marine Conservation Society (DMC)
The Dalhousie Marine Conservation Society (DMC) aims to cultivate the interest of marine conservation science in undergraduate students, primarily targeting students in marine biology, biology, environmental science, sustainability and related majors. Marine science is multi-sectoral, and conservation is increasingly important as the effects of climate change and the overexploitation of marine animals and ecosystems are gaining prominence. DMC plans to introduce and engage students in this marine science sector while raising awareness of the broad range of opportunities in this field, including research, statistics, NGOs, and fieldwork.

Dalhousie Roundnet Club
The Dalhousie Roundnet Club is a Tier-2 sports club that offers the play and practice of roundnet (Spikeball). The DRC promotes organized play for casual and competitive players of the sport outside of intramurals. Roundnet is becoming an evermore popular sport, the DRC recognizes this and provides an outlet to play and compete in tournaments!
DalDance Society
DalDance offers high-quality recreational dance practices for dancers of every skill level! We offer a variety of styles of dance, including classical dance (tap, jazz, ballet, etc.) and some additional classes in street styles (hip-hop, heels, etc.). In the Fall term we focus on technique and fun combinations, and in the Winter term we offer a performance opportunity with our annual DalDance recital!
Greater Love Dalhousie
With the help of the student body, we at Greater Love Dal participate in weekly outreaches with the purpose of offering food and listening to the stories of those on the streets of Halifax. We emphasize building strong friendships and showing those who are experiencing homelessness that they are loved and cared for.

The Dalhousie Exchange Society is focused on making the whole “exchange” experience as fun and easy as possible. We strive to help all students get the most of their experience either leaving Dal, or coming to Dal. DAL Bhangra
Bhangra is a Punjabi folk dance style originating from Punjab, India that now we have brought to Dalhousie! This is the first time ever that Dalhousie has this society! We currently do performances as well as looking into doing more classes to teach more people this dance form. You don't have to be a Punjabi to join nor have any experience to be a part of Dal Bhangra. We are a tight knit society, almost like a family and have practices often. Dal Knitting Club
Dal Knitting Club is a society where all levels of knitters get together to help the Halifax community by knitting items like hats, mittens, dishcloths and more for charities, homeless shelters, and other organizations seeking donations. It's a great opportunity to learn or improve a hobby while helping the Halifax community!
