CKDU-FM is Halifax’s only FM campus-community radio station: a volunteer-run, 3200-watt station broadcasting 24/7 from the Dalhousie campus to the metro Halifax area. CKDU has been on the FM dial since 1985. Our mandate is to provide an alternative to private and public broadcasters, and to be a forum for diverse and under-represented voices, music, and news. We're committed to public access to the airwaves, and to supporting marginalized individuals and communities through our projects and programming.
Our office hours are 9am-4pm, or later by appointment. Drop by or get in touch with one of our staff to make your own show, present us with music, or receive training in audio recording and production.
