Looking to join a society to get more involved at Dal?
On the 2nd or 3rd week of each major academic semester (Fall and Winter), the DSU hosts the Clubs and Societies Expo. With a selection of +300 societies, there is bound to be a group for you!
This event is a great opportunity to network and learn more about what Dalhousie University, the DSU, and ratified societies clubs and societies have to offer to you as a member of the Dalhousie community.
Whether you are looking to make friends, expand your network, an ideal society to join, or you simply want to be more informed about options available to you; the Expo is the place to be! You can expect a great atmosphere, music, snacks, swag, and more! Do not miss out, and come meet your societies!
Is Registration Required?
For General Members: Nope! This is a drop-in event, and you simply have to show up at the time and place advertised for the event.
For Clubs and Societies (booth/tables): You can register for the Expo below.
In case of Cancellations:
For General Members: We will notify everyone via our socials in case of cancellation or rescheduling of the event.
For Clubs and Societies: The Societies Coordinator will notify you, and provide you with direction in case the event is cancelled or rescheduled.

To spice things up, the DSU encourages all attendants to engage with our societies by playing Society BINGO at the Expo! BINGO Cards are provided to attendees when checking-in.
As you make your way through the Expo, check out boxes off your BINGO Card. It’s easy, intuitive, and you can win one of multiple $50 Gift Cards!
Step 1: Check-in for the event and receive a BINGO Card.
Step 2: Complete activities and have booth stamp your card. Your aim is to create a line!
Step 3: Jot down your “Name” and “Email”, and drop off your completed card at the DSU Booth on your way out.
Step 4: You will be contacted within 1-2 weeks of the Expo if you are randomly selected as one of our winners. Winners will also be announced on our socials!
